2017 Samuel’s Gorge Grenache, McLaren Vale

Aromas of peppery blood orange and cinnamon with hints of amaro, strawberry and undergrowth. The palate shows light, delicate tannins with flavours of cherry, liquorice and soft red fruits.

2015 Henschke Johann’s Garden, Barossa Valley

A blend of separately vinified grenache, mataro and shiraz, this wine shows intense aromas of fresh raspberry, dark plum and cumquat complemented by nuances of mace, nutmeg and black pepper. The palate is pure with concentrated layers of texture, minerality and velvety tannins.
