2017 Cape Mentelle Chardonnay, Margaret River

Intense aromatics of citrus, peach and pineapple are met with hints of toasted nuts, wisteria blossom and savoury curd. A rich and textured wine with flavours of white peach, rockmelon and candied citrus leading to a long, complex finish.

2019 Church Road Grand Reserve Chardonnay, Hawke’s Bay

From Church Road’s best vineyards in the Tukituki River Valley, this is a full-bodied, yet refined chardonnay defined by minerality and fresh natural acidity. Notes of citrus blossom, stone fruit and roasted nuts with a wisp of struck flint.

2018 Collector Tiger Tiger Chardonnay, Tumbarumba

Fruit for this wine was sourced from vineyards between 610 and 760 metres altitude at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Aromas of white flowers, grapefruit and flint lead to a concentrated palate of focus, length and complexity.

2017 Gilbert L.C.R. Chardonnay, Orange

Sourced from the high-altitude Borrodell vineyard, this chardonnay beautifully expresses its cool-climate origins with precision. Citrus blossom and pear aromas lead to a flinty, mineral palate with taut acidity and great length.

2018 Handpicked Collection Chardonnay, Mornington

A blend of clones Mendoza and P58 from the Capella vineyard, and fruit from select Mornington Peninsula vineyards. Whole bunch pressed, and fermented and matured in French oak, the wine shows layers of citrus and ripe stone fruits with a mineral edge and a touch of creamy depth.

2019 Kumeu River Maté’s Vineyard Chardonnay, Auckland

An exceptional vintage for Kumeu River, the grapes in 2019 experienced high levels of millerandage, with many small berries alongside normal sized ones, resulting in a wonderfully concentrated palate texture and fruit richness.

2019 Ponting Tasmanian Chardonnay, Tasmania

Sourced exclusively from the Tamar Valley in Northern Tasmania, where Ricky Ponting spent his youth, this vibrant chardonnay is full of citrus, stone fruit and pear aromas, and flavours balanced by nutty oak. A pure and exceptional example of Tamar Valley chardonnay.

2019 Pooley Cooinda Vale Chardonnay, Tasmania

Pooley’s Cooinda Vale vineyard was established in 1985. This wine shows subtle aromas of cardamom and pepper berry with citrus zest and apple blossom. It’s fine and restrained with chalky texture and lace-like acidity.

2019 Seville Estate Reserve Chardonnay, Yarra Valley

From a benchmark vintage comes this Yarra Valley chardonnay of exceptional flavour and balance. Beautiful aromas of white flowers and stone fruits are supported by a flinty lees reduction, while the palate shows melon and citrus fruits with pure and focused natural acidity.

2018 Smith & Sheth CRU Heretaunga Chardonnay, Hawke’s

A new arrival into Australia, the 2018 Heretaunga Chardonnay is a richly textured wine combining vibrant lemon peel and white peach notes sitting alongside savoury, nutty flavours and a delicious creamy texture to finish.

2019 Stella Bella Luminosa Chardonnay, Margaret River

The Luminosa vineyard is situated in the Boodjidup Valley in Margaret River’s south. Aromas of peach fuzz, almond and grapefruit lead to powerful flavours of lemon, lime and pink grapefruit, balanced by natural acidity and ripe phenolics.

2018 Xanadu Reserve Chardonnay, Margaret River

Pristine aromas of fresh pear, grapefruit and white nectarine are underpinned by hints of oatmeal and roast almonds. The palate is fine boned with citrus, nashi and stone fruit flavours, oyster shell characters and focused, bracing acidity.

2019 Yarra Yering Chardonnay, Yarra Valley

From Yarra Yering’s 1969-planted chardonnay blocks, this elegant expression of Yarra Valley chardonnay offers oyster shell, grapefruit and ginger aromas. The palate is fine with pillowy fruit weight, citrus drive and lengthy, pithy texture.

2017 Yering Station Reserve Chardonnay, Yarra Valley

Crafted from equal parts Coldstream and Valley Floor fruit, this is an exceptional overview of premium Yarra Valley chardonnay. Grapefruit, nashi and vanilla cream flavours are supported by pure, lip-smacking acidity and a fine mineral backbone.
