2015 Curly Flat Pinot Noir, Macedon Ranges

Aromas of violets, blackberry and raspberry waft through undergrowth to form a rich, savoury nose. The palate is luscious, energetic and awash with kirsch, cocoa, black pepper and vanillin spice, supported by fine tannins.

2017 Handpicked Wines Wombat Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley

This pinot noir shows beautiful fruit purity with velvety tannin and great depth of flavour from established vines. The fruit is sourced from Handpicked’s Wombat Creek vineyard, the most elevated block in the Yarra Valley.

2016 Henschke Giles Pinot Noir, Adelaide Hills

Picked from the steep slopes of the Henschke Lenswood vineyard, this pinot noir holds lifted aromas of black cherry and wild raspberry with subtle hints of strawberry, cinnamon and underlying floral nuances. Concentrated flavours of wild red berries and white pepper are supported by bright acidity and a long finish of velvety tannins.

2015 Spring Vale Estate Pinot Noir, Tasmania

Dark brick red in colour, this pinot noir shows aromas of dark cherry complemented by charred oak and mixed spice. The palate reveals lively sour cherry and strawberry flavours perfectly balanced by savoury oak and persistent, fine-grained tannins.

2017 Yarra Yering Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley

This Yarra Yering Pinot Noir is handpicked from some of the oldest vines of their kind in the Yarra Valley. The wine boasts a bright crimson colour, with a violet perfumed nose and initial palate of powerful cherry fruits which turn into the classic silky pinot noir finish.

2016 Akarua The Siren Pinot Noir, Central Otago

Highly fragrant with violet and rose florals, dark berry fruit aromas and notes of star anise, cinnamon and coffee bean. This is a powerful and brooding yet poised and balanced wine with mineral-laden tannins and a long, silken finish.

2015 Amisfield RKV Reserve Pinot Noir, Central Otago

Layers of dark berries and red fruit with a delicate spice make this pinot noir a complex and dynamic drop. The palate shows initial restraint with a backbone of vibrant acidity which opens up to reveal a texture of fine tannins that end with a lengthy finish.

2016 Domain Road Vineyard Defiance Pinot Noir, Central Otago

Aromas of violet and chocolate with hints of cinnamon, musk, caramel and blackberry surround this single vineyard expression. The weighty palate is complemented with ripe blackberry, chocolate, coffee and cloves with fine tannins and a persistent minerality to the finish.

2012 Muddy Water Hare’s Breath Pinot Noir, Waipara

Crafted from organic pinot noir sourced from the limestone slopes of North Canterbury on New Zealand’s South Island, this unfined, unfiltered and wild-fermented wine shows dark spice and minerality with an earthy, rich finish.

2013 Villa Maria Southern Clays Pinot Noir, Marlborough

This single vineyard expression boasts intense dark fruits due to the clay soils and sheltered location of the Southern Clays vineyard. A perfume of violets, dried herbs and dark ripe cherries is present with a palate of dark berry fruits, herbs, liquorice and coffee which create a silky finish.
