Central Otago’s Eat. Taste. Central  

23 September to 24 October 

It’s time to explore Central Otago on New Zealand’s South Island with the region’s Eat.Taste.Central event. The month-long celebration sees local cellar doors, restaurants and cafés take part in the E.T.C Regional Menu Challenge, where they each create exciting events and experiences to best showcase the produce of the region.

Whole of October 

Looking for a getaway this October? Why not make it to stunning Orange, with the Orange Wine Festival, which runs for the entire month. From winemaker tastings, to paired long lunches and vineyard-side picnics, it’s an event not to be missed by any food or wine-lover. The festival’s signature events are also making a return, including the popular Night Markets, Vintner’s Table and Orange Wine Show.

Unwined Subiaco

  22-23 October

Celebrating its 12th year, the much-loved Unwined Subiaco food and wine festival is back for 2022. It’s an exploration of Western Australia’s best, with all your favourite local winemakers, brewers and distillers pouring their prized creations. Don’t miss the festival’s Barrel Sessions, where names like Frankland Estate, Wise Guys Gin and Nowhereman Brewing will be on hand to take you on a deep-dive into their products.

Food and Wine in Margaret River with Peter Bourne 

28 October to 1 November

How about a tour of Western Australia’s gorgeous Margaret River with the Wine Man himself? In conjunction with Renaissance Tours, Peter Bourne will be hosting this five-day tour taking you to all his favourite places, and some of the most renowned hotspots of the region. Expect visits and private tastings at some of the region’s finest wineries, including Vasse Felix and Cullen Wines. This long weekend also includes stops at Fraser Gallop Estate, Leeuwin Estate and Cape Mentelle Vineyards, among many others.
