Star Cellar Door
Linking history with the future, Tahbilk was established in 1860 and looks firmly to the future with carbon neutral certification and an extensive sustainability programme applied from the vineyard to the restaurant. Bordered by the Goulburn River and the Tabilk Lagoon Wildlife Reserve, the sprawling estate has a range of experiences on offer. The cellar door is housed above the original underground cellars in the historic winery building and a generous selection of wines is offered for tasting. Ancient marsanne and shiraz vines present an opportunity to take in the region’s story that should not be missed. Knowledgeable and friendly staff happily guide you through a tasting and can point you in the direction of the Wetlands View Restaurant, where you will find a mouth-watering selection of dishes to tempt you. Round off your visit with a post-lunch wander through the walking trails around the wetlands of the estate.
