GREAT SOUTHERN AND EDEN VALLEY RIESLING TASTING

If you haven’t already acquainted yourself with the impressive riesling of WA’s Great Southern and SA’s Eden Valley, now is the time. Join Peter Bourne in Sydney on 1 March at Winespace, and in Orange on 28 February at Ferment, the Orange Wine Centre for a tasting of some top examples from the regions. The Sydney tasting is A$75 and Orange is A$60, and both run from 6pm to 8pm.

Sydney’s Clark Island will be transformed into a Mediterranean getaway with the launch of the Greek Island Festival this March. It’ll be like the European holiday you’ve been longing for, with an exciting offering of Greek food from the state’s top chefs, along with a stellar line-up of imported wines, beer and spirits. There’ll also be some free Greek cooking demos if you’re looking to acquire some new go-to dishes for your culinary repertoire. Take in the Mt Olympus area, where you’ll catch live dance and music performances.

Orange’s much loved F.O.O.D Week is back for 2022 and is a must-visit for anyone wanting to discover all the magic of this slice of NSW wine country. It’s one of Australia’s longest running food and wine festivals, with the 2022 event bringing back everyone’s favourites like the F.O.O.D Week Night Market, Taste Local on the Lawn and The Sampson Street Long Lunch.
