Valley of the Gin

There's always room for another gin in the cabinet, especially for one with a provenance like this. Emirates has released 1832 Wolgan Gin, which has been locally distilled in Wolgan Valley, NSW. The gin was created in collaboration with Mikey Enright of Sydney gin bar The Barber Shop, and Ian Glen, distiller at Stone Pine Distillery in Bathurst. It was distilled with purified water from the Carne Creek, which flows through the nature reserve surrounding Emirate's Wolgan Valley resort, and infused with seven native botanicals: lemon-scented tea tree, coriander seed, finger lime, juniper berry, angelica root, orris root and liquorice root.

1832 Wolgan Gin (A$135) is available at Emirates Wolgan Valley and The Barber Shop in Sydney and online at
