Vasse Felix, Margaret River’s founding winery, was established by Dr Tom Cullity in 1967 and has been under the stewardship of the Holmes à Court family since 1987.
Its portfolio of wines includes one of the region’s finest reds, the 2016 Vasse Felix Tom Cullity Cabernet Malbec and one of its finest whites, the 2018 Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay.
Its restaurant under chef, Brendan Pratt, remains one of the state’s best. Since the original winery was converted to the Art Gallery in 1999, the large open space has showcased regular exhibitions from the Holmes à Court Collection.
There are a diverse range of tours available that take you behind the scenes or even onto the nearby coastline. As well as this, there are a range of wine experiences to ensure that the memories will linger. PETER FORRESTAL
